ARTIST STATEMENT

The focus of my work is the human being.

The comparison of the normal range and the comfort range is the starting point for approaching topics such as

Role models, physicality, sexuality, gender and their representation.

The questioning of curiosity also plays a role in my work.

The topic of normal range versus feel-good range is not only reflected in my work, but is also reflected

projects the viewer and invites them to question norm_values ​​and to find their own feel-good_values.

I am interested in physicality as a vessel for the essential.

I understand nudity as an integrative symbol of authenticity and perfection. But also vulnerability.

For me, artistic work is constant research.

The artistic process enables me to perceive my environment and my fellow human beings more attentively.

It is basically a scientific endeavor that does not judge and evaluate, but observes holistically and in a networked manner.

Value-freedom, mindfulness and reflection are important to me in my work.

It is the kind of research in which I perceive myself as part of the process and feel holistically connected to what is happening.

This research keeps the mysteries of life alive for me. During the design process I experience highs and lows harmoniously connected. Every encounter, every moment in the creative process fits into the artistic work as a meaningful and essential part.

I live in Vienna, where I have been drawing and painting since I was a child.

For me, art is a combination of craftsmanship and love, an interplay of talent and practice, dedication and discipline.
